Marriage, one of the Sacraments of Vocation, is a scarament of love – which draws its strenght from God who is the source of Love. In marriage we see the love of God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, made manifest.
Your church marriage celebration is both a sacred and sacramental occasion. The components of this celebration – Rite of Marriage, Prayers, Readings Music etc. reflect the sacredness of the occasion.
READINGS: These are taken from the Bible only. Other reflections, thoughts etc., may be added, at the discretion and with the approval of the celebrant.
MUSIC: Couples should note that the choice of music should be appropriate to the religious nature of the marriage ceremony. Secular songs are not appropriate.
